The First Ever Smartphone 3D Printer | ONO – The First Ever Smartphone 3D Printer

ONO is the first smartphone-powered 3D printer.

Simple and affordable, ONO uses the light from your smartphone’s screen to print 3D objects.  Because it runs on AA batteries, you can take ONO anywhere.

The Printer

  • Z resolution: Layers at 20 or 100 microns depending on the printing mode
  • X-Y resolution: Up to 42-micron resolution, depending on the phone screen resolution
  • Auto-leveling: Sensors reset the Z height before every print
  • Removable resin tank and build plate: Makes removing the part and cleaning the printer easily
  • Reusable printing film: Film can be used for up to 10 prints in the same location
  • Quiet: The low noise mechanism allows printing even at night
  • Portable: Lightweight and small, it is easy to take with you
  • Adaptable: USB charging cable connects to any USB charger, from wall plugs at home to rechargeable battery packs for off-grid use
  • Sturdy: The body is made of durable technopolymers designed for strength and durability
  • Low maintenance: Long-lasting actuators are self-lubricating, requiring little maintenance

The Resin

  • Breakthrough technology: Patented resin hardens under the white light of your phone
  • Minimal waste: Uncured resin can be reused for future prints
  • Wide range of materials: Different resins for different uses

The First Ever Smartphone 3D Printer

Black

The Black resin cures into a smoky black color. It’s firm but flexible, like ABS. It can be used to make strong parts that can take a bit of a beating.

Blue

The Blue resin cures into a blue-green color. It’s firm but flexible, like ABS. It can be used to make strong parts that can take a bit of a beating.

Red

The Red resin cures into a bright red color. It’s firm but flexible, like ABS. It can be used to make strong parts that can take a bit of a beating.

The First Ever Smartphone

Yellow

The Yellow resin cures into a warm yellow color. It’s firm but flexible, like ABS. It can be used to make strong parts that can take a bit of a beating.

First Ever Smartphone

Clear

The Clear resin cures into a translucent color. It’s firm but flexible, like ABS. It can be used to make strong parts that can take a bit of a beating. The translucency lets you see into complex parts more easily or create interesting light effects depending on the thickness.

Cast

The Cast resin is designed to work with the lost wax process in jewelry-making, which lets you turn the part you 3D printed into solid metal. The cured resin has a high wax content that leaves almost no ash when it burns. It can be used to create a mold where fused metal such as silver, gold, or titanium is poured to replace the resin. The mold is then broken, and you are left with a metal part.

Flexi

The Flexi resin cures into an amber color that can bend and twist significantly without breaking. Thin or hollow parts will bend easily, while thick or dense parts will be harder, but still springy.

Solid

The Solid resin cures into a creamy white color. It is the toughest resin available. It’s very strong, but the stiffness makes it snap more easily than the firm resins. It’s ideal for highly detailed models because it is easy to file smooth and paint after curing.

ONO is compatible with iOS from Apple, Android OS, and Windows Phone.

ONO is compatible with most models and brands of smartphone and every major OS on the market. All you need is to install its app on a flat screen smartphone with a touchscreen.

1. Select a model to print from the ONO App.

2. Pour the resin of your choice into ONO and close the cover.

ONO does the rest!

You can use any 3D scan software, including Autodesk 123D Catch.

Use exactly what you need to print. No more. No less.

ONO tells you exactly how much resin to use for each print.  Any excess resin can be returned to the bottle (after removing any debris) and used for future prints.

Are you a Jeweller? Designer? Engineer? Architect? Stamp builder? Dentist? Toolmaker? Student? Teacher? Maker? Tech Enthusiast? Inventor?

Do you have a passion for making your ideas real?  Then ONO is for you!

Or you can create your own design from your favorite 3D software and import yours.STL.OBJ, or.PLY file to OLO’s app from your computer.
